How Sandals is expanding further in the Caribbean

Driven by its visionary “Sandals 2.0” strategy, Sandals Resorts International is embarking on an unprecedented expansion phase with the planned opening of six new properties by 2031, marking a break from conventional luxury to embrace radical product innovation in the heart of the most sought-after Caribbean destinations.
Under the leadership of Christian Casagrande, Director of Sales for Southern Europe, the group is completely rethinking the guest experience by focusing on ultra-exclusive infrastructure, such as the imminent opening, on March 1, 2026, of Treasure Beach Village within Beaches Turks & Caicos. Caicos: This 101-room expansion will bring the resort’s total capacity to 858 rooms and introduce large-capacity Club and Butler Suites (up to four rooms), specifically designed to meet the massive growth in multigenerational travel, while also incorporating state-of-the-art leisure amenities such as the Butch’s Island Chophouse restaurant, an infinity pool with waterslides, and a 32-seat private cinema.
Meanwhile, Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines continues its technological and architectural upgrade; Following its initial opening, on November 1, 2026, it will welcome twenty new iconic Rondoval villas with private pools, complementing an already extensive offering of suites with butler service and exclusive access to rooftop terraces for astronomical observation upon request.
This momentum continues in Saint Lucia, where Sandals Regency La Toc will unveil 22 pool villas starting in 2025, and extends to three future large-scale Beaches resorts: a 600-room Bajan-style project in Barbados, the major transformation of Sandals Emerald Bay in Exuma (Bahamas) into a 249-room Beaches resort, and a 400-suite resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, ideally located near a golf course and the new Sandals Royal Dunn’s River in Ocho Rios.
This commercial offensive is meeting with a resounding echo, particularly in the European and Italian markets which are registering a massive increase in bookings, with a marked preference for the Bahamas — where 30% of customers have chosen the Sandals Royal Bahamian for summer 2025 — as well as for Antigua and Negril, confirming that extreme personalization, butler service and architectural audacity are the new pillars of Sandals’ hegemony in the ultra-luxury « All-Inclusive » segment.
