Songdo, a 100 % linked city


In the South Korean city of Songdo, on the edges of the Yellow sea, the American high-tech giant Cisco is testing the services of the future.

Among the latest innovations, a medical or psychological consultation in HD with the best hospital specialists or English private lessons with professors from Michigan, for 125 euro per fifteen minutes directly in one’s kitchen.

«Mothers love it because they can be with their children all the while giving them the most competitive education, without leaving their home», explains Chung Jiwon, from Ulife, a joint venture founded by Cisco in partnership with the American property promoter Scabies, who is in charge of developing this new city.
