Etihad Airways and Condor announce new routes to Abu Dhabi

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, and the German carrier Condor have announced a strategic partnership, including the launch of new daily flights connecting Frankfurt and Berlin to Abu Dhabi starting in summer 2026 and a comprehensive codeshare agreement.

Starting May 1, 2026, Condor will operate daily flights between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi with its Airbus A330 aircraft, and will then inaugurate daily service between Berlin and Abu Dhabi on June 15, 2026, using Airbus A320 aircraft.

These new routes will significantly facilitate direct access to Abu Dhabi for German travelers, with seamless connections to Etihad’s extensive network across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

Arik De, Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial and Revenue Officer, said: « We are delighted to announce this strategic partnership with Condor and to welcome their new services to Abu Dhabi.

Germany is a key market for Etihad, and the addition of Berlin to the new routes to Frankfurt addresses strong passenger demand, particularly with a direct connection between the two capitals further strengthening ties between the UAE and Germany. »
