Air France-KLM announced growth in both revenue and net income for the third quarter, with the airline having « demonstrated its resilience in a challenging environment, » said CEO Benjamin Smith in a statement on the quarterly results. « We maintained solid revenue growth and a stable operating margin. » Third-quarter revenue exceeded €9.2 billion, a 2.6% year-on-year increase. Net income reached €768 million, compared to €824 million a year earlier. Production capacity increased by 5.1% year-on-year. The company forecasts capacity growth of 4% to 5% for fiscal year 2025 compared to 2024. The airline also announced a 4.8% quarterly increase in capacity on its North Atlantic routes compared to the previous year. Performance was solid in premium cabins, with positive returns, while economy class performance remained under pressure, according to the airline.

ITA Airways announced that for the 2025-2026 winter season, it will serve 53 destinations: 16 domestic, 21 international, and 16 intercontinental. Among the key announcements is the launch of the new route between Rome and Mauritius, starting November 7, 2025, with two flights per week. The airline also announced the resumption of flights between Rome Fiumicino and Malé (Maldives) from December 19, 2025. Specifically, the flight to the Maldives will operate daily until January 6, 2026, then three times a week, and finally four times a week from February. This service will continue throughout the Easter period.

ITA Airways Furthermore, they have also increased flights to Bangkok, from five to seven weekly frequencies starting December 8, and to Buenos Aires, from nine to ten weekly frequencies between December 16 and January 9, 2026.

TAP Air Portugal announces the launch of a new route connecting Lisbon to Curitiba, the capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná, starting July 2, 2026. The airline will operate three weekly flights between the Portuguese capital and Curitiba’s Afonso Pena International Airport, further strengthening its leading position on routes between Europe and Brazil.
The flights will be operated with A330-200 aircraft, seating 269 passengers, on the Lisbon (LIS) – Curitiba (CWB) – Rio de Janeiro (GIG) – Lisbon (LIS) route, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Furthermore, TAP Air Portugal has entered into a partnership with the Portuguese Olympic and Paralympic Committee (COP) and the Portuguese Paralympic Committee (CPP) through an agreement making the national airline the official airline of Team Portugal and its Olympic partner until the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

International Airlines Group has chosen Starlink for high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity on board its aircraft, including those of British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Level, and Vueling, the airline group announced on Thursday. The first aircraft are expected to be operational in early 2026.
