Marriott International, Inc. today announced the signing of a landmark agreement with Northstar D.O.O. to launch The Ritz-Carlton brand in Montenegro. According to the project funded by Al Yasra, The Ritz-Carlton, Montenegro and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Montenegro is expected to bring the brand’s unmatched elegance and legendary service to the country in 2023.
The hotel and residences should be built on the waterfront, on the western tip of the very chic Luštica, offering a panoramic view of the splendid Adriatic Sea. The domain is intended to be accessible in 30 minutes by car from Tivat International Airport, or in two hours from Dubrovnik International Airport. He will also have a sea entrance, allowing guests and residents to experience an unforgettable arrival, under the sign of the glamour of the Montenegrin Riviera, by landing on the hotel’s private jetty.
The development plans for the 120 rooms and suites aim to create real wellness sanctuaries for guests, discreetly merging the simplicity of local design with modern technology to enhance the natural beauty of the site.
The Adriatic will provide a unique backdrop to the planned areas, including the estate’s main restaurant, two specialty restaurants, a beach bar, indoor and outdoor pools, a Lido salt water pool, a high-end spa, a sports hall and fully equipped Ritz Kids and Teen clubs. Adventure activities, such as mountain biking and nature hiking, are also planned for guests.
