To commemorate the tenth anniversary of Yves Saint Laurent’s death, which took place in Paris on 1 June 2008, the Yves Saint Laurent Paris Museum pays tribute to him with an original presentation of some sixty of his early drawings, on display in haute couture salons, from 29 May to 9 September 2018.
Made during his adolescence in Oran, until his arrival in Paris in September 1954, these works are for the most part presented to the public for the first time. They offer a new look at his beginnings and address his passions for literature, theatre, ballet and fashion, thus helping to understand the sources of inspiration for his future creations.
