For 2019, Air Transat announces a direct Toronto-Split route

Air Transat will add Split in Croatia to its European destinations in the summer of 2019, with a weekly flight from Toronto.

Starting in the summer of 2019, the Canadian carrier will offer one direct flight per week to the Croatian destination on the Adriatic Sea. The Balkan peninsula is experiencing a significant increase in tourism, being considered by many as one of the most trendy destinations in Europe.

A specialist in leisure destinations, Air Transat is the second largest airline in Canada. It offers approximately 60 international flights in 26 countries in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East, as well as domestic and connecting flights in Canada. Each year, the company transports nearly 4.5 million passengers. Based in Montreal, it employs 3,000 people. Air Transat is a subsidiary of Transat A.T. Inc., a major international tourism company specializing in holiday travel, offering packages, hotel stays and air links.
