Eva Air, Taiwan’s leading independent airline, has added new flights to its Taipei-Brisbane and Taipei-Milan routes. Starting January 16, 2026, the Taipei-Milan-Taipei route will offer daily service, an increase of three flights per week (compared to the current four). In addition, the Taipei-Brisbane-Taipei route will benefit from additional flights every Tuesday between December 2, 2025, and February 24, 2026.

Rennes Bretagne Airport continues its positive momentum with two pieces of good news in partnership with Transavia France, the low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group. The airline confirms its confidence by strengthening its flight schedule from Rennes: The extension of the Rennes–Marrakech route for summer 2026, operated twice weekly (Thursdays and Sundays), in addition to the Rennes–Agadir route, available from October 22; The opening of a new seasonal Rennes–Ajaccio route, proposed from July 18 to September 5, 2026, with one flight every Saturday.

Aircalin, the international airline of New Caledonia, and Singapore Airlines (SIA), a member of Star Alliance, have decided to expand their commercial cooperation by signing a new codeshare agreement. Starting October 3, SIA will apply its code to the SB740 and SB741 flights operated by Aircalin between Nouméa and Singapore, round-trip, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Since July 1st, the new codeshare flights have been available for sale through the respective distribution and booking channels of the two airlines. With this new codeshare agreement, Singapore Airlines adds Nouméa to its network, facilitating the sale and issuance of tickets to New Caledonia from Paris, the provinces, and throughout Europe.

For the first time in Delta’s history, SkyMiles members and Delta Air Lines employees had the power to decide which new European destination would join the airline’s global network. Thousands of votes were cast, but the winners were split, with members choosing Sardinia and employees choosing Malta. The two islands will join Delta’s route map in the summer of 2026.

The first two ITA Airways aircraft bearing the Star Alliance brand rolled out of the hangar today: an Airbus A320 and an Airbus A220-300. Over the coming months, additional aircraft will gradually be equipped with the Star Alliance brand.
The introduction of this brand is part of ITA Airways’ ongoing efforts to meet the requirements of its membership process for Star Alliance, the world’s largest airline alliance. The process is expected to be completed in early 2026, when ITA Airways will officially become a full member.

JetBlue announced another major expansion of its flights at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), solidifying its position as the airport’s top airline with the most departures this winter, peaking at 113 per day. Beginning in November, JetBlue plans to launch a new nonstop flight from Fort Lauderdale to nine new destinations in the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean, including Cali, Colombia, a brand-new destination for the airline.
