Thomas Cook opens his 3rd Casa Cook Hotel in Crete in August

Thomas Cook announces a 3rd Casa Cook for this summer in Crete : a new nugget for its exclusive collection, many times rewarded.

Built from A to Z and opening in late August 2018, Casa Cook Chania is the first family hotel in this collection with a concept tailored for the youngest explorers, offering a balance between family time, sports and educational activities.

Located on a hill overlooking a wild part of the Cretan coast, the 45 bedroom complex resembles a village, while adapting to its location near the historic port city of Chania. Perfectly integrated into its natural green environment, the hotel combines minimalist modernism and sustainable design, using wood, concrete and Cretan stone.

With a simple but sophisticated architectural style, different levels and a lush tropical landscape, it embodies casual luxury for the whole family.

Designed for children and families

Developed with the expertise of education specialists and a group of 25 children, the concept for children stands out from the classic mini club program by allowing children to learn and explore in a natural and creative way, with a modern educational approach.

Casa Cook provides spaces for young children and teenagers, including a tree house. Children can enjoy cooking lessons, painting workshops and pyjama parties in a tipi, offering parents the opportunity to enjoy quiet moments while their children play nearby.

Casa Cook Chania follows the successful opening of the first hotel in Rhodes in 2016 and the second in Kos in 2017. This latest addition is aimed at a growing generation of curious and independent travellers, whether they are families, friends or couples.

The hotel has 7 different types of rooms, each room can accommodate a minimum of 2 adults and 1 child with larger suites and communicating rooms available for large families or groups of friends.

Many rooms offer shared or private pools, while all enjoy the Casa Cook spirit – discreet luxury in modern sanctuaries. All the rooms are equipped with bay windows opening onto a private terrace or swimming pool, without difference between the interior and exterior environment, for those who seek to feel the Mediterranean lifestyle.

Located along the main pool, the restaurant and bar are inspired by a tropical beach club atmosphere, offering an all-day open kitchen where you can enjoy authentic Mediterranean dishes.

Massages take place in a chic outdoor tent, while guests can also enjoy a beautiful functional gym, indoor pool and outdoor pavilion for yoga classes.
Customers who want to take home some of their holiday can find what they are looking for in the concept store, with its fashion items, accessories or interior design.

A series of excursions and activities are designed to explore the best Crete has to offer, and hotel staff will be delighted to share their knowledge and recommendations for living as a local resident.
