Mandarin Oriental establishes itself in Muscat


The Mandarin Oriental hotel group announces the management of a resort and the creation of residences in Muscat, capital of the Sultanate of Oman, which is scheduled to open in 2021.

Mandarin Oriental, Muscat will have 150 rooms and suites, five restaurants and bars, as well as a Spa at Mandarin Oriental and an outdoor swimming pool. Thanks to its privileged location on a popular beach and its architectural design, the hotel will offer magnificent views of the Arabian Sea. Numerous reception and meeting rooms will also be available to host all types of events.

The Group will also manage 155 Residences at Mandarin Oriental, offering the capital’s most sought-after private apartments, ranging in size from 75 to 260 square metres.

The project has been entrusted to the developer Eagle Hills Muscat, a private company specialized in real estate investment and development.

Capital of the Sultanate of Oman, Muscat is known for promoting and preserving its natural environment as well as the customs and traditions of its region. 20 minutes by car from the airport, Mandarin Oriental, Muscat will be located in a prestigious and central district, with many shops and magnificent cultural sites such as the Royal Opera House, the Great Mosque and Muttrah, the traditional souk of the city.
