Thomas Partey, Ghana’s Player of the Year

Thomas Partey was named Ghana’s Player of the Year with Atletico Madrid. A distinction that pleases a few weeks before the 2019 CAN.

« I woke up with this rather special news, it’s a blessing for me. I just want to express my great thanks to the Ghana Sports Press Association, to those who voted for me and also to my representatives. Thank you Ghana, » said the midfielder.

The Black Star apologized for not being able to attend the event and was pleased to have won this award, in a season where he played over 40 games.

Thomas has risen in front of other great athletes born in Ghana, such as Asamoah Gyan, Wakaso, Acheampong… and the Ayew brothers…
