Qatar Airways, official partner and official airline of FIFA, was honoured to take part in the highly anticipated celebrations marking the kick-off of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019 ™, which took place last Friday in Paris.

Among the many activities organized by the company before the opening match of the tournament between France and the Republic of Korea was a stand specially designed by Qatar Airways at the FIFA Fan Experience Villages in Paris, Lyon and Nice.

Spectators and supporters of all ages were invited to become goalkeepers for a virtual competition and also had the opportunity to see some of the world’s best freestyle footballers perform on the soundtrack of an internationally renowned group of drummers.

The 4 winners of the competition launched by the company on its social networks, in partnership with the FIFA Fan Match, had the chance to win tickets to travel in Business Class as well as tickets to attend the spectacular opening ceremony.
