It’s going to swing in Monaco this winter

The Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival 2018 will take place from 13 November to 2 December at the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo. Since its creation in 2006, the festival has received the high patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

This festival will allow, this year again, to discover and rediscover the greatest jazz stars, and the talents of today, in this wonderful place,
temple of music and creation for over a century.

The programming of this 13th edition shows that jazz is still as popular as ever.
diverse and in love with freedom: open to all musical currents, always leaving to tradition, without being motionless, drawing inspiration from all the music of the world, and giving pride of place to creation.

Gregory Porter will open the 2018 Festival on November 13 by revisiting the music by Nat King Cole. The concerts of the biggest names of jazz will follow Marcus Miller & Selah Sue, John McLaughlin, Bobby McFerrin, Youn Sun Nah, Robin McKelle, Manu Katché, Hugh Coltman, Eric Legnini,
Vincent Peirani, Electro Deluxe, Cyrille Aimée, Keystone Big Band.

The festival will also open to other musical worlds by welcoming the pianist Denis Matsuev in a jazz repertoire, Sanseverino, Benjamin Biolay & Melvil Poupaud and, for the last weekend, Boy George and Culture Club.
