FIFA scandal : Senegal’s team doctor is actually a gynecologist !!

Following the immediate dismissal of the national team coach—precipitated by the Lions of Teranga’s premature World Cup exit—the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) finds itself at the center of a major scandal after revealing that the team’s official doctor of nearly a decade lacked the necessary expertise in sports medicine.

During a highly anticipated press conference, Federation President Abdoulaye Fall publicly acknowledged his responsibility for this historic oversight, admitting he had only belatedly discovered that Dr. Abderahmane Fédior was actually a trained obstetrician-gynecologist. He lacked the essential academic qualifications required to oversee the medical monitoring, athletic preparation, and emergency care of elite international footballers.
