Costa Crociere announces the arrival of a 3rd ship in South America

Costa Crociere announces the arrival of Costa Luminosa in South America during the winter of 2020/2021. From November 2020 to April 2021, the Italian flag company will have three vessels operating in the region: the Costa Luminosa will join the Costa Fascinosa and Costa Pacifica, whose positioning in South America had already been announced this summer.

Costa Luminosa, Costa Fascinosa and Costa Pacifica will offer several itineraries, on sale from November 2019, to discover Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. In particular, the Costa Fascinosa, which will leave the port of Savona for South America in mid-November 2020, will have Santos as its main home port. The cruises will head north to Brazil, visiting destinations such as Búzios, Salvador, Ilhéus and Ilha Grande.

After the transatlantic crossing from Genoa on 13 November 2011, Costa Pacifica cruises will focus mainly on Argentina, Uruguay and southern Brazil. Stopovers are planned in Buenos Aires (Argentina); Ilhabela, Búzios, Rio de Janeiro and Ilha Grande (Brazil); Montevideo (Uruguay).

The Costa Luminosa will also depart from Santos for seven-night cruises to Itajaí (Brazil), Buenos Aires and Montevideo. The positioning cruise in South America, from Venice to Santos, will anchor on November 8, 2020.
