Air India and Air Canada will reinstate their codeshare agreement on December 2, after it was suspended during the Covid-19 pandemic, Air India announced on Saturday. Neos, a member of the Alpitour World group, announces the opening of a new direct route between Milan Malpensa and Atyrau, a city located in the Caspian Sea region and one of Kazakhstan’s main industrial and energy hubs. This flight will operate from November 17, 2025, to July 2026, with the aim of strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
The flight, operated by a Boeing 737-8 MAX, departs from Milan Malpensa every Monday at 8:00 p.m. and arrives in Atyrau on Tuesdays at 5:20 a.m. (local time). The return flight is scheduled every Friday at 12:15, arriving at Malpensa at 14:00. From March 2026, a second flight will be added, with a stopover in Almaty (departing Thursday at 18:00 and arriving Friday at 9:25, local time) and a return flight on Friday (departing at 6:10 and arriving at Malpensa at 14:05).
