Finnair will add flights on several of its Japanese routes, increasing its capacity to Japan by 15% over the 2019 summer season. Three weekly flights will be added on the Helsinki-Osaka route, meaning that Finnair will now operate ten weekly flights between these two cities during the summer season, starting on 31 March 2019. Additional frequencies will depart Helsinki on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 00:45. Following the success of the daily double frequencies to Tokyo this summer, Finnair will continue to operate the Helsinki-Tokyo route with 2 daily flights throughout the 2019 summer season and will also add a third daily flight during the Golden Week holiday in Japan.

Emirates is celebrating 10 years of A380 operations this year.
